About Kimizee Candles

Hello there!

My name is Kimberly. I am the owner and founder of Kimizee Candles. My home based company was started in Jan 2008.

The reason that I started Kimizee Candles was because I was recently looking for a specific candle scent and couldn't find it anywhere! I browsed the internet and found many beautiful candles for sale by Yankee Candles and Tommy Bahama.

I quickly realized that the prices for those candles are absolutely ridiculous! Then I searched eBay and found a homemade candle maker who carried the scent I was looking for. The price was reasonable, so I thought I would give it a try.

When the candle arrived, I was astonished at the horrible quality and workmanship of the candle. It smelled and looked so terrible that I had to throw it away. At that point, I knew that there was a strong need for higher quality handmade candles available to everyone!

The very next morning I started researching and learning how to make candles. I spent hours and hundreds of dollars in Barnes and Noble reading up on candle making! Then I went to work locating quality ingredients for a reasonable price.
